Originally known as the Federated Malays States Railway Station, and later the Malayan Railway Building, WismaKastam is one of the most prominent heritage buildings located along he Weld Quay waterfront of George Town. In fact, the WismaKastam was the tallest building in Penang before Komtar came into being. While there are future plans to transform WismaYeapChorEe and WismaKastam into hotels, its iconic façade will always be a prominent feature in George Town.
