Upon starting to operate 24 hours daily, this digital library grabs attention of the youths in Penang with no trouble. As an ideal step towards reengineering how information is curated and consumed, the library does not include any physical books. With the existences of latest tools, gadgets and features, the digital library provide users with structured access to information with 3000 specially made available e-books, e-magazines, reference journals and many more. All the e-reading materials is easy on the visitors’ pockets by allowing free access to the 10 tablets provided for public use. Users who use the mobile app ‘Readcasa’ will have to pay an annual subscription fee of RM60 (for adults) and RM30 (for students).
